Our facilities include a studio for recording, mixing, and producing audio in stereo and 5.1, a studio customized for digital visual projects, a speaker dome studio for working with ambisonics and multichannel audio, an electronics workshop, and a project room suitable for production of dance, installations, chamber music, electronic music, and more. Inkonst

During your stay at Inkonst, accommodation will be provided at our partner apartment hotel, The More, located just 50 meters from the venue. Your work will take place in our dedicated residency space, The Studio (https://inkonst.com/en/p/the-studio).

At Inkonst, you will become part of a highly active and international artistic environment. Throughout the year, the programme includes residencies, guest performances, concerts, and public events featuring local, national, and international artists. The venue functions as a natural meeting point for artists working in the region.

Together, we aim to provide a strong working context that includes access to technical facilities, curatorial dialogue, connections to research contexts, and participation in an interdisciplinary artistic platform.

Sound Art Lab

The artist residency at Sound Art Lab aims to facilitate and support the development of high level artistic projects within any field of sound and listening and to foster exchanges with local, national and international networks. We provide facilities for artistic production accessible around the clock, private room in our shared artist apartment central in Struer, artistic and technical supervision in any phase of your project as far as possible, space and equipment for public presentations, connections to local audio technology companies and other local partners.

We have three sound studios equipped with studio monitors, high-end audio interfaces and computers with audio and video editing software, as well as a multi-purpose space that can be used to spatialize installations, for performances or for multi-channel speaker setups. All four studio spaces are newly refurbished floating rooms that have been acoustically treated. We have three ateliers. Artists can be assigned their own atelier on arrival, for the duration of their stay. The ateliers provide a light and open space, which can be configured for any purpose.

Dar

At DAR, the residents will live in cosy Lithuanian resort Druskininkai, in spacious apartments, provided with free wi-fi connection and some basic technical equipment (speakers, mixers, microphones). DAR are long-term partners with the Music Innovation Study Centre in Vilnius (130 km from Druskininkai), so the artists could visit the studio there several times and develop their works with professional assistance. Music Innovation Study Centre is equipped with 3 acoustically sensitive rooms: an auditorium, a spherical sound recording studio (with setup designed for high-order ambisonic sound format), a studio editing and control room. The center focuses on digital music technology innovations and synergies for the development of national and international art, science and study programs.
